In January 2017, our Cub group entered the annual District Cub Cooking Competition. Eight Cub groups from across Chesterfield took part. Each group (consisting of three or four cubs) had to make a two-course meal for two on the theme “The Great British Menu”.
Groups were marked on the following categories: preparation, hygiene, presentation, imagination, taste and teamwork. Our trio of budding cooks, dished up Posh Baked Beans and Chocolate Mandarin trifle and were delighted to come third! Well done Wingerworth!
