Beaver Sleepover

Beavers managed to circumnavigate the globe during their “Around The World In A Day” Sleepover. See the pictures here. Chilly Challenge

Well done to all the Scouts who took part in the Chilly Challenge camp over the weekend. As well as below zero temperatures overnight on Friday, the Scouts had to cope with no mains water on Saturday. Not to worry though – Scouts are good at surviving without washing!!

Photography

Last year, some of the Scouts completed the Photographer Activity badge. The results were fantastic and all received recognition by a local professional. Well done to all involved. One of these photographs has been spotted in this weeks Derbyshire Times (page 7). Well done Sam!

New Tent

Last week, 3rd Wingerworth Scout Group received a donation of a brand new Patrol tent.  The tent was donated by one of the local Freemasonry Lodges.  Scouts and Cubs will greatly benefit from the use of this tent on future camps.
