1 May 1933 – “1st Wingerworth” Scout Group was registered. The Scoutmaster was Percy Vaughan who lived at Hardwick Wood – this was the address that was used as the HQ.

1936 – “1st Wingerworth” Scout Group closed. Unsure of the exact date.

2nd Wingerworth

8 June 1936 – “2nd Wingerworth” Scout Group was registered. The Scoutmaster was Kenneth James Ball. Assistant Scoutmaster was Norman David Kingston.

An entry in the “2nd Wingerworth Scout Troop, Log Book, Volume 2” shows the HQ at the Rectory on Swaithwick Lane.
